THE MOTT HAVEN PORT MORRIS WATERFRONT PLAN
The Mott Haven-Port Morris Waterfront Plan is a transformative community-led initiative to provide community access to a public waterfront that has been inaccessible for decades. Recognized as a New York State Priority Project in 2016 and included in the NYC Parks Department's Harlem River Watershed and Natural Resources Management Plan for the Bronx, this project is a testament to over a decade of community advocacy. Led by the Mott Haven-Port Morris Community Land Stewards, the plan represents a collective effort to reclaim and steward the waterfront.
